As a general rule, cracks that run into the edge of the windshield cannot and must not be repaired!
Since the windshield is a load-bearing part of the vehicle, the kinetic energy of the car body is transferred to the windshield. Repaired cracks will not hold, but will quickly reopen and continue to crack. In accidents, cracks in the windshield can cause the vehicle roof to buckle faster than originally calculated by the designer, especially faster than the airbag deploys. This is life-threatening for the passengers, often even fatal! Simply accept that not everything can be repaired.
